Install in 5 steps

Takes about a minute. The app is installed from this website, not from the Play Store.

  1. Download the APKTap the Download APK button above. If your browser warns that the file may be harmful, choose Download anyway.
  2. Allow installs from this sourceWhen asked, tap Settings and turn on Allow from this source for your browser or Files app. You can turn it off again afterwards.
  3. Open the file and tap InstallOpen SpiderClockLive.apk from your notifications or the Downloads folder, then tap Install. If Play Protect shows a warning, tap More details, then Install anyway.
  4. Choose your styleOpen Spider Clock Live. Tap Modify to pick Classic, Midnight or Custom and change colours.
  5. Tap ApplyTap Apply, then Set wallpaper and choose Home screen, Lock screen or Both (the choices depend on your phone). Done!
Why the warning? The app is shared directly instead of through the Play Store, so Android shows a standard caution for any app installed this way. The app needs no internet and asks for no special permissions.

Questions

The wallpaper did not apply

Open the app and tap Apply again, then choose Set wallpaper. On some phones go to Settings → Wallpaper → Live wallpapers and pick Spider Clock Live.

It feels slow on my phone

Open the app, tap the wrench icon (Settings) and change Performance to Battery saver 30 FPS. Turning Neon glow off also helps.

Is it safe?

The app has no internet access and only uses the permission to set a wallpaper. You can remove it any time like any other app.

How do I update?

Download the new APK from this page and install it over the old one. Your settings are kept.

How do I uninstall?

First switch to another wallpaper, then long-press the app icon and choose Uninstall.
